Default Time to go shopping! Need some help.

Time to spend some $ on my JK. Would like to finalize my grocery list so here goes.

The Ride: 2010 JK Unlimited Rubicon - Automatic w/ Hard Top

The plan:
  • Trek Top
  • Lift
  • 35's
  • Bumpers w/Tire Carrier & Winch (soon, but not right now)

As for the lift, based on my plan and research done on the forum I have chosen to go with either the TeraFlex 2.5 Coil w/ Shocks or TeraFlex 3" Coil w/ Shocks.

My goal is to achieve a well mannered and smooth ride as compared to stock, if such a thing is possible.

What other items should I purchase and install at the same time to achieve my goal without going overboard?

Front upper / lower arms?
Rear upper / lower?
Front Trackbar?
Rear Adjustable Track bar?
Steering Stabilzer Upgrade?

PlanMan - If your out there I would really appreciate your knowledge!

Thanks!

I would go with the 3" lift. as far as additional parts needed... i would get
all that stuff listed above, minus the SS. keep your stocker until you bash it in wheelin.

I see in your profile you list the 2.5" coil lift. Is your recommendation to start with the 3" based on your current experience?

I know TF has a 3" with full control arm kit however, it doubles my price. Are all the arms truly needed all at once?

2.5" is fine on my 2dr, but since you have the unlimited, id go 3", if not 4". when my 35s wear out, i plan to go to a 3" and 37s (if funds allow).

im not so sure on a 4dr, but i think you will need the CA's with a 3". you may not need a rear track arm, though. hopefully someone with this lift and a 4dr will chime in.

Yes, hopefully some more peeps running the 3" kit will chime on on what other items are necessary vs. nice to have.

Im running the 3 inch kit and I have the front lower control arms only to adjust my castor. Drives great, no problems what so ever.
