2010 and Rampage Combo Top Brief
Just got my 2010 in on Saturday and was lucky enough that today was 70 degrees out so I decided to try my new Rampage Mesh Combo top brief out.
Just thought I should let everyone know some problems with the 2010 and these products:
The Windshield header worked fine and it mounted well to the two loops on the windshield.
But the problem comes into play with the door surrounds.
It appears that they had designed this top to work with the 07-09 Door surrounds that have the lip for the soft top to tuck into.
The 2010 has a spring/cable mechanism for keeping the Soft top snug against the sides and hence has no lip to tuck the tabs that the Island topper combo has.
I am not sure if the Bestop units have this same problem. Anyone with a Bestop care to respond.
Long story short, i was still able to put it on, it just didn't go all the way outside like it was meant to, instead I had to use the straps that are intended for use when there is no Door surrounds present.

Anyone have some door surrounds they're willing to part with Cheap?
