Default DONE: currently installing lift need occasional immediate info

CAN A MOD PLEASE EDIT THE TITLE TO SAY DONE? THX

okay im finally done.
after 6 days doing it alone,
10 trips to the auto parts store,
several slipped wrech injuries
and numerous othe quirks
it is now sitting higher.

now since this is my first jeep, and my first lifted vehicle, i wasnt sure what to expect exactly, so now im a little nervous driving it around, i have to get used to the swaying when i turn and the flightyness of the steering.

but i dont feel any vibration from the new shaft

on to the concerns tho:
-i think my tranny is more prone to slipping out of gear, (only when cluch is pressed), im not certian about it yet tho, ill figure that out when i drive it to work tomarrow.

-and is it normal now when i take hard or u-turns for it to kind of feel like it has 4 wheel steering? like the back wheels are steering outwards. it could just be in my head tho

original post:

ill be comming backe to this thread every now and then whenever i get stuck at a step and need immediate help

rigt now im stuck at relieving fuel pressure so i can drop the tank
any pics would help greatly thx

I haven't had to do this on my jeep but on my truck there is a valve onthe fuel rail. You just depress it and it relieves the pressure. Put a rag around and under it cause it sprays everywhere.

When I messed with the fuel system on other vehicles I had to remove the fuel pump fuse and turn the ignition to the on position without starting the vehicle. This relieved the pressure on the system allowing you to change filters, etc without getting soaked.

Windex and a Wonder Bar...not a lot of force needed...just patience and a lot of Windex.

This is what i did. I found the fuse that controlled the fuel pump and pulled it. Started the vehicle till it died and wa la. Fuel pressure relieved. I am not sure why you would have to drop the tank though to install a lift. I haven't heard of doing that before.
