I never recommend an insert 'lunch box' style locker for rear axle applications. They are prone to failure due to pins shearing, cross pin shear or case failure. For the front they're ok because even if they fail you can do a bit of work and get out on just a rear axle. They also wear. They don't unlock the same as a Detroit Locker and locker wear occurs everytime the axle disengages around a corner.

For your rear axle stick with a Detroit Locker (accept no low buck imitators) if you want an auto locker. If you MUST go with a lunch box rear locker go Aussie.

New, your price requirement will only allow you to purchase a locker like an Aussie. I'd look for a used Detroit Locker. You'll need part number 187SL16D.
