anyone have the series 51 procomp rockcrawlers in 15". Will they clear the calipers? The new 4wd catalogue had the soft 8's in 15 so I assumed that they would fit and bought them last night and now that I'm checkin on the forum I'm getting worried. PLZ HELP so I can cancel my order if I need to. THANKS!

 

what backspacing did you get?

 

I have the Pro Comp Rock Crawler Street locks, and they fit perfectly. The series 51 is basically my wheel without the fake beadlock so they should fit the same way I imagine. What backspacing did you go with? Mine are 3.75.

 

3.75" backspacing but I called and the sales manager basically said soemtimes they fit sometimes they dont and I may have to grind the calipers if they dont... kind of ridiculous. Although, I think i read soemwhere else that the Rubi Calipers were a little different shape and tend to rub more. I have an X so maybe I'll get lucky.

 

I think you'll be fine. And worst case if you had to grind a little bit, it's not much from what I've heard.
