Lift BB for 2dr with 33" tires
I am purchasing new wheels (Dick Cepek DC-2 17x9) and new tires (Pro-Comp Xtreme AT 285/70 R17). This is for my 2 Door X '07 red rock JK.
I would like a small lift to make it all look good and add a little clearance. I'm thinking 1.75" or 2" BB. I'm not up on all the details on lifts. The Jeep is my DD and I'm never planning extreme wheeling just off-road, trails, etc. It will get most of its miles on the highway.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to get?
I would like to level it out a bit too but I'm not sure of all the details. I don't think I need new shocks for this but I am open for advice. I want a good ride for my DD.

You will need new shocks or shock extensions with any 2.5" lift. If you don't get one or the other, you're shocks will be near the end of travel and not have much more extension when you hit a hole. If you don't offroad, I guess it could be ok...

If you go with the Teraflex kit, get the one with the shock extensions if money is tight. It has everything you need. I ran that kit for a year and it worked great on and off road.

I got the the Zone shocks that were 34.68 each for the 2" lift.
they really made a difference from my OM rubi shocks.
they were alot softer and make for a great ride.

Personally, I can't stand nose high stances of some of the kits on the market. That one looks perfect.
