Default Trying to upgrade my 3.21 axles to 4.11 using OEM parts....need help!

Hello all,

I have a 2009 model with a manual transmission and dana 30 front and 44 rear. It has stock 3.21 ratio gears.

I want to upgrade to 4.11 ratio axles but no aftermarket manufacturer makes anything smaller than 4.56. I note that 4.11 ratio axles were available on the 2007 model as a factory option. Can I use the front ring and pinions from the 2007 model in my 09 model?

Also, is the rear D44 in the 2009 rubi the same as the rear d44 in the 2009 non rubis? If so, I was thinking I might get a 2007 4.11 D30 front R&P set and a 2009 rubi 4.11 R&P set. Will this work? Can anyone provide the necessary part names and numbers if so?

I am getting ARB air lockers so will not need a new front carrier.

Your advice is really appreciated! I am having a lot of trouble finding a 4.11 R&P set! Oh, and before you say it, no, I do not want 4.56s. I do a lot of highway driving and will only be running 33s.

Cheers,

Greg.

Yeah, but I don't want to kill my fuel economy. I don't think I need any more than 4.11s for the off roading I do. There's a lot of empty road between fuel stops in some parts of Australia so I really have to take that part into consideration... unlike you US guys who get fuel for almost nothing

ah the differnce between 4.11's and 4.56's is maybe 200rpm in 6th gear..
just 1-4th is more power.
