See title.

It seems like only the hardcore custom-built stuff has flex joints on both ends... all the aftermarket stuff has a joint on one end, and a bushing on the other end.

Can anyone explain why this is?

Cause on road it would be a nightmare. Well that's my guess anyway.

From what I understand, you'd get much more road noise and vibration with mechanical joints on both ends. Although I have never been on road with a vehicle with all mechanical joints...

Same here. Put Curries on a couple weeks back. Doesn't feel any different than stock.

Besides ride which is subjective, the other reason is maintenance.

Thanks for the replies. Good to know there's nothing fundamentally wrong with doing it.

A shortarm setup with double flex-joints on all 8 arms would be STUPID flexy would it not? I mean, assuming you had long shocks to go with it
