Default New tires-rubbing

hey yall, i jsut bought a new set of cooper stts and i got a little wider size (255 to 285) and i was wondering if anyone else had switched to a bigger tire size on stock rims and stock deminsions and such. no spacers or anything, i have a rubicon btw and if anyone could offer anysoultions besides spacers thatd be great

You have 2 options:

1. Install a set of quality spacers
2. Buy a new set of wheels with less backspacing

I had to put spacers on and cut away a little bit of the plastic air damn down below.

yeah buddy youneed spacers and even when you get them your rear is gonna rub when when fully flexed. you have to put on a small lift and I manned up and cut the fenders it was the only way I cleared the tires when flexed....I was gonna put flat fenders on then though hell I might as well try to cut them first.....and I LOVE it!....oh yeah I have a rubicon too...
