Why wouldn't these rims with 5.3" BS and 35x12.5 tire fit?

I'm just looking at the NorthRidge4x4 web site at the AEV Pintler Wheels 17x8.5 Silver Wheel : 5x5 : +25mm offset. The website says the BS is 5.3in and (This wheel also works well on non-lifted 07+ JK Wranglers as a factory replacement)
I don't see why this wouldn't fit my JK with 35 x 12.5 tires. I'm already running a 34 x 11.5 tire on stock rims without spacers just fine. By my calculations the new rims will stick out an extra .9in farther than stock.
So why wouldn't they fit?

Anyways, the ones I am interested in are the +25mm ones with the BS of 5.3in
Most people get 4.5 - 4.75" BS for 12.5" section width tires.
Obviously, as the offset is different by 15 mm between the 25 and the 10 mm offset versions, and that's ~ 0.6"...and, 5.3 - 4.7" = 0.6"...it all makes perfect sense.
If you get the 4.7" BS version, you will be getting what MOST people here get to run that section width tire.
Mathematically, without taking turning into account, and just looking at inboard frame clearance....
..if a 285 fits and clears with 6.25" of BS....and is ~ 11.2" wide
...and a 12.5" section width tire would protrude inboard ~ another 1.3/2" = 0.65"
...you would think the 0.95" of extra BS that 5.3" gives over the 6.25" OEM BS, would be enough to clear the extra 0.65" of protrusion.
You end up with 0.3" of clearance..not a huge #, but, still, extra room.

But - Taller tires protrude inboard MORE on stuffage when the opposite side is drooped, and, swing through a wider arc when you turn...hitting more stuff that used to be too far away to hit.
This is where many have found a little extra clearance was good.

Thanks TEEJ, so I know there is absolutely no rubbing on my current set up. What I need to do is flex it and take some measurements. I did rub while turning but I fixed that by adjusting the turn limiting bolts.
What I gather from your post is that the setup might work but it would be close.

I think i'll just get the Pintlers with the 4.7in BS. I did a search for JKs with those rims and they look fine. Too bad there wasn't any JKs around where I live with those rims so I can actually see what it looks like.
