Default 2.5" TF lift, stock wheels, no spacers, no problem?

I'm planning on installing the TF 2.5" coil lift w/ shock adapters, currie LCAs and JKS front trackbar this weekend.

...only problem is that the new wheels/tires that I want with the right backspacing are on backorde. From what I understand, I need some 1.5" wheel spacers to make it work, right?

Solution: I spoke with Dave at Northridge (who comes highly recommended) and he said I should be good to go for an interim fix by keeping the stock rear sway bar links in until the new rims/tire arrive (just no offroading until then).

Does anyone forsee any other issues with this setup? I trust David's advice, but want to triple check before I dive in.

P.S. - if anyone has or knows where to get 5 ATX Predators (17x8.5) please let me know. From what I can gather they are discontinued and nobody has them in stock...I've called everyone and their brother.

I would trust his advice. I know that what I did was run the sway bar endlinks that come with the kit on the inside of the sway bar and haven't had any issues.

You CAN install everything and just not get into severe flexing. It only rubbs if your really flexed to the max, or almost to the max... I ran around in my rubi unlimted for a few weeks without my rear wheel spacers in. Only scrapped once. I was seeing how bad it got and would cross a ditch and get out and see how close, how close, how close till it touched.. It took a lot of flexing to get there.... Just my 2cents worth..

I originally got the Teraflex 2.5" spring lift, and ran the links on the inside. Now I am running the AEV lift, and still have my Teraflex links on the inside of the sway bar with no wheel spacers. When flexing it out the links made no contact with the stock tire. No pics of the rear tire, but if the front looks like this you can imagine the back. Prior to moving to a larger tire though I would get the wheel spacers.
