Default Upgrade my current lift or move to an another brand?

With 37in. tires, I am using a RE 3.5in. lift plus 1in. BL for the tire clearance, but my current suspension lift is a stand kit without aftermarket control arms, so I use cam bolts given by the lift kit itself. If I want to upgrade my RE stand lift to a RE Superflex kit, I have to buy a set of 8 control arms, however, that will cost about 1,100 bucks. On the other hand, I am also considering FT 4" Ultimate kit which featuring 8 adjustable control arms and front, rear adjustable track bars; the price of it is around 2,100 bucks. As the matter of fact, this should be my last investment for the suspension system on this jeep, so I want to make it a little completely. Make my current lift complete for a little lower costs or move to an another brand for a totally upgrade?

Are you looking to go any taller where you would need new springs, or are you just wanting control arms? If you don't plan on going any taller, I would just get new control arms, and if you do want to go taller I would go with the Teraflex lift. From all the lifts out there so far they have by far the best bushings in the control arms, and sway bar end links.

Thanks for the reply. For the CAs, I am putting JKS's, FT's and the TeraFlex Monster Flexarms in my wish list, which one of them has better quality?

I would put the Teraflex and JKS at the top of the list. The JKS will transmit a little less road vibrations to the cab because of the bushing on each end, and will require less maintenance since they don't have Johnny Joints, but they cost quite a bit more than the TeraFlex. The TeraFlex will provide a smoother range of motion because the Johnny Joints don't need any binding to allow them to move and flex. Between the Teraflex and JKS, it is just personal prefrence.

I know Full Traction was working on a new bushing because, but I have no clue if they have released it to the public, or how it would compare to the others.

Thanks for the info. By the way, what is the lift height range that work with either JKS's or TeraFlex's?

They both are good up to around the 4.5" advertised lift area (actual 5-6"), after that you may want to look into a long arm.

From the JKS website, they said the JKS's CAs are for the lift range between 0"-6", and think that will work for me, because my current height is 3.5" + 1" BL, and I still have some room between the 37" tires and the fenders. By the way, I have to use the factory CAs bolts when I install the new control arms if the new arms wont come with new bolts?

I have heard that after the installation of the Teraflex CAs, the CAs will get real close to the wheels, so that a set of 4.5" or less backspacing wheels are needed, is this true?

RE hasn't been great for the JK's from what I've seen personally. Do you not have 4.5 bs? I'd go with the Tera arms if I were you. I just have the front lowers and no probs.Don't see how any of the others would hurt you in any way.
