OK here's the deal. I am a little over a week into owning my Jeep. It's my first one and I have wanted one for a long time. Before this though I had a 2000 Z28 6 speed t-tops. A real fun car a blast to drive fast and wind out the gears. I was very reluctant to trade her in. Being that I don't have the room or money for 2 vehicles I had no choice but to trade her in. So here is my problem and it has nothing to do with the Z28. It has to do with the fact that I can't get enough of the jeep. If I'm not out driving, which by the way I don't miss the speed because I just love taking my time getting to wherever I am going, I'm sitting in it or just laying underneath it just checking stuff out. To make things worse when I'm not consumed with the jeep I am consumed with this site. So my question is do I have a problem or is this normal jeeper behavior?

 

You only have a problem if you run out of money. And after reading your sign, you're screwed! But don't worry. There are tons of cheap or even free mods. I always seem to find the money for my next fix. Welcome to the forum.

 

I am the same way. Constantly looking at what to buy next, Watching JK videos on youtube every day. All my money goes to the jeep. If im not driving it im on this site, quadratec, or i google Pics of JK's just to see what other people have. I wash the shit out of it 1 to 2 times a week. I get it dirty and muddy 1 to 2 times a week. and now that its summer ill be wheeling 1 to 2 times a week. Every where I go i seem to Notice every jeep that comes near me. My wife says im upsest. May be i am. Who knows but I have always wondered your same question.

 

Yes, you have a problem and yes, it is normal. But at least you have a jeep.

 

Oh no you've caught it! Unfortunately it will make you dump money into your Jeep and once you think your Jeep is complete you will relapse and it will make you realize it is not complete but you want to go in a different direction! The cycle then continues eternally!

 

Just Empty Every Pocket isn't just a joke, its true. And to get there you have to keep looking and dreaming up stuff to do to your jeep.

It's incurable. If you don't get it, you bought the wrong vehicle. Anyone who sells their Jeep because it isn't fast enough, needs to go buy a Z28. Anyone who complains about the build quality needs to go buy a Ford pick-up. And anyone who sells out because of the gas mileage needs to buy a Prius. Otherwise, there is help for you ...
