Default Maybe I'm an idiot - exhaust question

TRying to take off the stock exhaust and I can't get the pipe between the cats and the muffler out. All the clamps and hangers are disconnected, just can't get the pipe up towards the front or back. I'm Austin Powers stuck between two walls in a golf cart? Do I need to remove the t-case skid or should I just cut the %&$ing thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm installing a new cat-back exhaust, so I don't need to save the stock pipes, but I was hoping there was a way to do it without breaking out the dremel again.

Thanks

The clamp above and behind the axle is really tight. I have pulled mine twice and each time it took 30 minutes of pulling, yanking, tugging, jerking, twisting and swearing to get it to come loose.

At the clamp is an alignment pin. The pipe should be tight against it. Loosen the clamp and pull on the muffler for a while. Look at the pin again and you should be able to see how much progress you have made. The clamp overlap is about 2.5" - 3" deep. After it is halfway out it starts to come faster.

Sorry, reread post, didn't mention I have the pipes disconnected as well. Just can't get it out from under the car. Again, every way I try to pull to it's hitting on something limiting my movement.

If you dont plan on putting it back to stock, cut it and be done.

Got it out without cutting, sort of tight but got it done. 2 hours to get the old stock off and about 30-40 minutes to install and line up new. Thank you for the responses and help.
