Teraflex 2.5" lift ???
Well they have a few different versions of the kit, increasing in price as you add the shocks and spring. What I need to know ids, are the stock rubicon shocks spring better than what comes with the kit? Or, are the shocks and springs necessary to achieve the lift?
Well, you will get more articulation with the longer springs from a spring lift. However, if you want to retain your stock ride, you should keep your rubi springs and shocks. So I guess it comes dow to what do you do more, street or offroad?

The Rubicon shocks are shorter, even with the extensions. This means that you will not have as much articulation as with the teraflex shocks. As for ride, mine rides softer with the Teraflex springs and shocks that my buddies with the spacers and Rubi shocks.
Now I did notice on the Teraflex website in their 2010 catalog that they have a different shock number listed for shocks for 2.5" lifts than the ones that came in my kit. The ones listed in the catalog for 2.5" lifts are shorter than the ones that came with my coil kit.
Maybe they changed sonething or put longer ones in with their kits then if you just buy shocks for 2.5" lifted vehicles.

Thank you for this info. I am going to go for the full kit with shocks and springs.
Next ... what size tires look "right" with the 2.5" lift? I have the 32" stock Rubicon Mud TA's now.
