Default Just ordered the Teraflex 2.5 BB Kit w/ shocks!

What am I expecting going into this? I'm reading a lot of good reviews about this lift. I'm planning on running 315/70/r17 BFG's on my stock 07 4 door auto. The guy at 4Wheel parts said it was a good kit but that I'll run into some rubbing with such big tires at full turn. I currently have 4.10 gears too. Would i need to re gear? Most importantly, I'm looking for opinions on this set up. Thanks!

great setup and with 315's, regearing would be nice but not absolutely necessary especially if you don't have hills to climb. regarding tire rub, if you're planning to keep your stock wheels, you will need to get 1.5" wheel spacers. if not, you will have a lot more than just rubbing at a full turn to deal with as the sidewalls of your rear tires will rub your sway bar links as well.

Thanks for the reply WOL! Yes, I will be keeping the stock wheels for now. But just in case I decide to go with aftermarket, what kind of backspace should I look for? As far as the need for spacers, would it be ok to run like that for a while or should I put the on right away. I'm very new at this as you can tell!

if you're gonna get aftermarket wheels, i'd recommend 4.5" of back spacing or less. factory is 6.25" and that's way too much. as far as running spacers go, of course it's okay to run with them. i have been running spacers on and off on all my jeeps for years now and so long as they are installed correctly, you will be just fine with them also, you will want them on right away.

You can go you to 35's with flat fenders, no rubbing.

Nice Yellow Jeep! Are you running any type of spacers? If so, how safe is it to run with them? I've heard some horror stories from some people.

I'm not the yellow jeep, but I've been running spidertrax 1.5's since I had 8,000m on the jeep, now at 54,000m, never an issue.

Nice Jeep. The rubbing WOL is referring to is not with the fenders - its the inner side of the tire rubbing when paired with the stock wheels. Hence, the discussion of wheel spacers.
