18x10's 35" Toyo MT's
Like the looks of a 10' wide wheel, 4.50" backspace. Looking at a set of 18x10's , the one thing that consers me is wheel bearings. The dealer told me i might have to truss the frony axle.
Im not really building this Jeep for rock crawling. I just bought it for my wife but i cant leave anything stock.
Any comments on running an 18x10 wheel with 4.50 inch backspace?

I have a thought, I do not personally like 10" wheels and wide tires. You are increasing your rotating mass as it is when you lift and go taller. BUT then most people add in wider as well and it hurts as much as it helps. Unless you spend over 60% of your time on trails and or rocks I would say go with a slimmer setup. If it is just that you want the "sticking out tire stance" yu can go with back spacing to achieve that or spacers. I tend to stick to slimmer tiress to help with mileage and such, they have better aerodynamics and less contact with the road gives less resistance = better MPG's. JOE>
Get c-gusset as they're prone to bending with larger tires, no need to truss the axle. If it's gonna be a grocery getter for the wife those would be fine. If you were to go off road and air down you stand a greater chance of popping a bead with a 10in wide wheel, unless you get beadlocks. The jk unit bearing seems to hold up well, it's theball joints that are going out quickly, even with stock tires.
