Default Atlas T-case... do you have one?

Hey all

So a buddy of mine who has an offroad ONLY rig, recently installed an atlas. The thing is just unreal, especially the ability to turn on and off front and rear as it does. Any of you who wheel on rocks or on Forrest trails that are tight know how useful this could have been at times...

So... does anyone have one and what do you think? How would you justify the 3-4K cost? Would it have to be your offroad only rig or would you use it on a DD as well?

After playing with it today I was amazed and thought i get expert opinions here.

An AtlasII is around $2000, if you're looking at the Atlas 4 speed then you'll be up in the 3-4k price range. They are the units to have if you have the $$$.

I've got the 4sp on order with the 5.44 gearing. Should be here in June.

I have the 4sp Atlas. I love it now. It takes a while to break it in. Super tight and stiff to shift at 1st.
