Default 39.5 iroks????????????

been thinking of getting some bigger tires.........came across a set of six (6) 39x13.50r17 irok RADIALS that a guy had on his dually. they have less than 800 miles on them and are in like new condition. he wants $1200 for the set. iroks are not my first choice, but i almost feel like i would be crazy to pass on the deal. thoughts??

If you got the lift for it, GET THEM!!!!!!!

Also - need to make sure your axles are beefy enough with right gearing for them.

I had the Iroks on my YJ and i hated them. It seemed like anytime they got wet they would slip really bad on rocks. When dry yea they worked nice but wet no way. Just my experience.

Looking bad ass. SO what 60s are you running? Were you still trying to get the F250 axles to work??

i'm really on the fence.......i am still running D44's. i think i could clear the tires with very little modification, but i'm not sure if i feel like dealing with the possiblity of having axle problems. i guess i am going to pass on the tires and wait a little while until i upgrade axles and then i'll go ahead and make the jump to 42's. i still think this is an unbelievable deal though, so if anyone is interested here is the link. they are on ebay.

I run IROKs now rather than MTR/Kevlars. I just sold some 39.5's yesterday for about that same price with about the same milage. I'm putting 41" IROK's on now. I like the IROKs a lot, they seem to hold up better, IMO, than the MTR/Kevlars, particulary on the side wall running over rocks.

Looks like a good price and good tires. If you haven't yet, beef up the axles and gears before doing hard core wheeling if run tires this size.
