Default Painting the AFTERMARKET rims

When i got the jeep, it came with the Mickey Thompson classics. i am not a fan of the alloy, so is it a good idea to paint them black seeing as how its 70 a pop to get them powdercoated?? here is the jeep, and the rims i painted on my old truck.

Paint those wheels! They look good black. Just make sure to prep them really well first.
