Default Flashpaq or Lift first?

I'm debating on whether to buy a lift or superchips flashpaq for my next mod. I already have AEM's brute force CAI and MBRP xp Exhaust and the largest tires I will buy are already on the rig. Should I get the flashpaq first or should I do a 2-3" lift next?

Thanks!

I would get the Flashpaq, followed by the lift. I really like the way my engine responds with it. It would be my first mod.

Lift before trail riding, Flashpak before bigger tires. I say flashpak first, then lift, then tires, then trail.

I say LIFT then flashpaq. The lift will open up more trails without any issues of rubbing or clearing off-road obsticles. Flashpaq is nice, but I lived without it for 2 years and got to explore lots of areas with my lift that I would have difficulty getting into with stock suspension.

I guess it all depends what you want to do more....have more pavement pick-up & go or you want to explore more off-road and more challenging trails.

X2 Totally agree here, I have been running 35's for almost 2 years with stock gears (3.73) and its totally doable. And with the lift it makes it looks so much better and it allows you to move up to bigger meats with no issues if you desired. just my

Lift all the way. I am very happy with my set up. I don't even think the Flashpaq is needed.

1-Lift 2-tires 3-gears

This response is the perfect reason to do the lift first. Some owners just aren't as sensitive to performance as others.

If you think the JK is a dog in stock form then do the Flashpaq first.

I decided to upgrade the performance of the jeep first before lifting/bigger tires. I went the other route with my Xterra and it was just so sluggish. I do think the jeep can use a performance upgrade and it will be even more so with bigger tires. I am happy with my choices of Brute Force CAI, MBRP Exhaust, throttle body spacer and the Flashpaq.

I cast my vote for the Flashpaq as in the OP the maximum tire size were already in place and I would assume without clearance issues. If there was clearance issues or rubbing, I would flip but as presented I'm going with something that will give me a performance increase with every mile I put on my JK.

Also, I don't think your done and have maxed out your tires. You may think you are, but put a 2-3" lift on and reality is going to change your perception of what the maximum tire size you'll be running is.

i'm done with tires until these run their course. I put a 4" OME HD lift on.
