Default Getting new lift

I am getting the Skyjacker 4" short arm suspension lift and putting a 2" body lift on at the same time. Is there anything that i am going to need to change like the driveshaft or anything along those lines? I am going to run 35's with this lift. All feedback is appreciated.

You haven't filled out your profile yet, so we can't really give you any specific advice....

2dr/4dr?
Auto/Manual?
X(sport)/Sahara/Rubicon?

Welcome!

6" of lift and only 35" tires. Your jeep may look like a roller skate.

Any reason why you were looking to run this kit over other brands?

Depending on how much you offroad and disconnect, your front DS will eventually need to be replaced.

I have a 6" longarm lift and 37's and it looks perfect to me anyway. If I had 35" tires there would be alot of room in the wheel well.

What are you intending on doing with the jeep? Mall Crawl or are you going to use 4 low and climb over stuff?

With my 37's I have stuffed the plastic wheel wells a couple times in Moab.

2 jk's
my old silverado.. switched to fabtech much better
my buddys 08 silverado

go with terraflex or roughcountry and 3.5 inch lift is PLENTY with 35's

2.5in coil is plenty with 35's...

i got a leveling kit and makes my 33's look tiny thats 2inchs in front. 1inch in rear

I would suggest that you start with the FAQ's. There is a lot of good info in there concerning lift height vs tire size, what components you will want for various lift heights, gearing, wheel backspacing, etc. You'll see that unlike older models, JK's just don't need 8" lifts to run 32" tires...

Yeah mostly climbing over stuff. I chose the 4" skyjacker because they had the best price on the 4" lift and I wanted atleast a 4" suspension lift. I didnt want to spend over like 900 -1000 bucks. All the other brands of lifts seemed so expensive. That was my only real reason to go with skyjacker. Any suggestions on lifts that are 4" that are around the same price?

I got the RC 3.25 kit and I am very happy with it. I am only running 32s but will be upgrading to 35s in a month and I dont anticpate any problem. With lifts, go with the LEAST amount to run the tires you want. The higher you go the more problems you will encounter and the more money you will have to put into it. I would go with the lift I have or the Teraflex 2.5 inch coil lift. both will allow 35 inch tires. My lfit was only 380 bucks and the terafles is only like 600 bucks. The only reaosn you would need a 4 inch lift is if you want to run 37s but you will have to spend way over 1000 bukcs to get something that doesnt ride like crap.
