Ok, here we go again. I got a buddy that wants to buy my 35's. I really want 37's because it just looks better. I have 18 inch rockstar rims, and they have 5 inch backspace. I have read somewhere at some point in time that some people had trouble fitting 37 toyos on a AEV rim because it would rub the frame. I know they have 4.7 backspacing....So what am i asking?

Does anyone run a rim with 5 inch backspacing or somewhere close to that (not 4.5 because i know they work) with a tire measuring 14 inches in width? I really want the toyos, but i do not want a wheel spacer. If they do not fit, i guess i would just get another set of grapplers.

Better yet, does anyone know of another set of tires that are 37-38 that would fit a 18 inch rim? I have exhausted my searches. Any help would be nice. Yes, i will need a good off road performance tire.

Why not just put some spidertrax 1.5's on and call it a day.
