My jeep has been in the shop for two days getting new gears and they just called me and told me it wont be done until tomorrow. I provided all the stuff they need and just dont know why it would take 16+ hours. Is this normal?

BTW Im not getting lockers installed just gears

 

Mine was in the shop for 73 days 1 day after I made 1st payment wife was tboned it was during the jeep issues and parts were not avail to fix it

3days..drove 5 min...back to dealer than 28 days....went 4 days back to dealer for 5 days..
sooo plenty... i missed a whole month of her life

 

3 weeks - while they diagnosed a leaky soft top. Ended up putting a lot of new parts on, including a complete new top. No leaks since.

 

3 months.......

 

how can anybody know? wouldn't it be better to ask the shop why they're taking this long? my jeep has been in the shop anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of months so there is no normal, unless they overcharge the amount of hours to change gears, then again ask the shop...... IMO
