Default Is a bad powder coat finish on Procomp Rock Crawlers common?

Ordered a set of the procomp rockcrawlers for my new KM2's from 4wd.com. So I open the box and on 3 out of 4 rims the powder coat is chipped with bare metal shining from underneath all around the edges and on the face. On the one rim that wasnt chipped and one of the others that was the powder coat was all nasty. It looked like there was dirt/ grit on the rim before they painted and it was all beaded up. I called 4wd and complained, they said they were going to send me a new set but should I expect the finish to be as shitty on the new ones??? The chips are likely from getting thrown around during shipping but it was the paintthat concerned me.

Anyone else have these problems... bad powder coat or anything?

out of the 5 8069s i ordered from 4wd, 1 wheel had a large section of powder coat missing from the inner hub section. i used this wheel for the spare and the center cap covered the damage. i didnt want to waste my time dealing with 4wd, since the whole process with them was a bad experience. from now on, i go to northridge4x4 first and then if they dont have it, i go to quadratec. both of these places have top notch customer service. good luck. im surprised 4wd didnt offer you a gift card instead of fixing the mistake.
