Hill Assist in MOAB
After watching all kinds of awesome videos of jeeping in MOAB and seeing alot of rigs struggling up some of the climbs I got to wondering how the hill assist has affected some of off-roaders experiences. In the city I love it but I am wondering what some of your experiences off roading have been like. Post your thoughts. (didn't find a tread on this, if I missed it my bad and please post a link).
What the hell is "Hill Assist" ???
My rubicon came with everything push button i.e. lockers, discos, esp., o.d. (auto trans), But I don't seem to have the button that says Hill Assist!!!!!!

Have it on my 2010 manual Rubi as well...I'm not a fan of it in the city..Seems to me it doesn't want to release as quickly as I think it should...However, after taking it to Uwharrie ORV park here in NC it can in *really* handy when the group I was riding with came to a stop that put me on a very steep incline waiting for them to move...It was very easy to get moving again and hill assist released as expected...Overall I'm a fan of it offroad...On road, not so much...

You don't need any hill assist - especially in 4 low. You can climb right up the slick-rock. All but one of my Jeeps, out of 7, have been manuals and I've never needed or wished I had any type of hill-assist. If you have one great but driving a clutch isn't that complicated.
