The kelly tsr is a Goodyear made tire. It is a good tire for the price you will get. Not sure
how they are offroad.

I know you already went with the Kellys, but in case anyone else turns this up in a search or something, it might be worth mentioning that the Definity tire is made by Cooper. It's a 2 ply sidewall though, not 3 ply like Cooper's Discoverers.

I know a guy with a TJ running 285/75-16 TSRs. He is very satisfied. In addition, he paid about $170 per tire, mounted and balanced. Compare that price to the same size DuraTrac.

They are as good as many Mud/Terrains in the slop, but like the DuraTracs and Cooper S/Ts, they are more of a hybrid tire design. Good in mud, great on trails and rock.

I forgot to mention... When I was shopping for tires, my short list included the TSR. I went with Coopers based upon demonstrated tread life. However, I did not feel that the TSRs were inferior in terms of performance, and certainly not inferior in looks.
