Kargo Master Congo Cage Question
I noticed in the installation manual that the front bars of the cage detach to allow the soft top to be opened. I usually flip back the front portion (4 door) and fold the bimini back uncovering the passengers but leaving the back (trunk area) covered. Leaving the windows in. I have two questions:
1. Does the cage tilt back high enough to clear the bimini bar's swing radius and
2. Is there something included to hold the cage up? I seem to remember something mentioned in the installation guide but it was vague.

Yes, it does swing back far enough... also it does include prop rods to hold it. One problem... prop rods are not long enough to allow the opening of the soft top... WTF? I have a buddy hold the rack back while operate the soft top.
Thanks for the response!
Damn. Well that's annoying. I want to be able to load a canoe on top when I have the soft top up. Not looking to spend lots of dough either. Some of these racks out there are insanely expensive. Does anyone have an easy solution to loading a kayak or canoe with the soft top up. Any rack suggestions that won't break the bank? Any other suggestions? I know top down I could just strap to the roll bars but I want to be able to have the top up if it rains.

You can still fully use the soft top up or down with the rack... it is just the operation of the top requires the rack to be tilted back. Another annoying feature is that you have to un-bolt the front bolts to do this. I crafted a quick disconnect.
