Default 2" Lift- Which to buy?

Im looking for a 2 inch lift, and quick disconnects for my 2 door. Ive read i can fit 35"s underneath if i lift it. Also heard that i need spacers in to push out the wheels too. Im searching for something cheap, sowhich kit (spacer kit?) and disconnects should i be looking at?

I just ordered a Rough Country Series II 2.5" Suspension Lift Kit (Without Shocks)
Mfr. #: 634. It's in the mail, so I'll have to know you know how it works out. But I'm going with a 33" tire.

If you are considering 35's, you should look at the 2.5" BB at the min. or if you go with the 2" BB then you will have to chop your stock fenders or order some flat fender flares to fit the 35's if you will be doing some serious off-roading and flexing.

Look at the TF 2.5" BB seems to be the most popular on the forum
Spiderex wheel spacers are the brand most use for wheel spacers.
JKS adj quick discos get my vote.

Go with the OME regular duty coils (615 and 617, I believe) and you'll be fine as far as lift height goes.

looks like from the teraflex site that there are 3 different levels of kits to get for that budget boost package. Which one do you guys reccommend? do i need to replace the shocks?
Heres the link:
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/jk-...get-boost.html

Also from the JKS site, the disconnect says made for 0-2" lift and 2.5"-6" lift. This might be redundant but- go for the 2.5-6" lift kuz the tf is 2.5 yeah?
And heres the link for the JKS

--My dad actually just ordered some bushwacker fenders, so i will cut those and then have a pair of flats to fit 35s in.

A spacer is a spacer, any brand should be fine. (lift, not wheel) What you want to look at are the added components. Decide if a missing component is something that you will want/need, and go from there.

For disconnects, there are many options, but JKS and TeraFlex seem to be the two most popular on this site.
-JKS disco's have two pins on each, you completely remove them when off-road. (the downside is that you have to find someplace to store them)
-TF disco's have one pin on the bottom, your remove it, swing the link up and connect it to a bracket. (the downside is that some people are rubbing tires on the pins when they are connected to the bracket, which damages the pins or rips them out)

As mentioned above, disconnected with a 2" lift and 35's, plan on rubbing. You can chop the flares or go to flats, or you can add bumpstops, or maybe just ignore it until you rip them off

For wheel spacers, there are also many options. SpiderTrax are arguably the best, but are more expensive. Some others are Rugged Ridge, Rough Country, TeraFlex, no-names off of ebay. There are a few threads going on the RC and Spidertrax spacers, you might find them very informative. Whatever you decide, make sure the spacer you choose is the kind with two sets of bolts, and not the thin ones that are just sandwiched between. (spacer bolted to hub, wheel bolted to spacer)

Fender-chop mod!

Or

Check out Rusty's for a 2" spacer or spring lift and add disconnects.

http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_2.html

after you guys mentioned the RC packages i looked them up and i like what i see here. good price, and it seems to be what i want to get. they even have cheap quick discos for 60 bucks.

but!.....
in another thread i read that there were a few different criterea that i should look for in a kit if i want to run 35's:

"If you want to run 35s, you want a complete 2.5" lift that includes:
springs,
shocks,
rear trackbar bracket to center the rear axle,
extended bumpstops long enough your desired tire size,
rear brakeline relocation brackets,
longer rear swaybar links so you can move the stock ones to the front" - planman

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=rear+sway+bar

it looks like even if im looking at the premium package for the lift that im still missing, bumpstops, springs and an adjustable trackbar.
Would this be a signal for, "look for another kit?" or "youve found a kit, now find the missing parts?"

There is no right answer. Everyone has their own opinion of what is needed, some start with minimal kits and build as they go, some want a 'complete' kit from the beginning. Only you can decide what you need.

But I can't emphasize enough that you look past the dirt-cheap price tag!!! As I suggested earlier, compare the kits and decide if a missing component is something that you will need, or if it is something you can add later, or if it is something that you can live without...
