Default centering Steering Wheel

I'm going to be installing a 2.5 inch lift this evening. When I adjust my drag link is that done with the wheels down or up. Or does it even make a difference? I was thinking down off the jack stands.

you adjust your steering wheel with your tires on the ground.

Don't tighten the components while on the jack stands.

All items should be tightened/torqued with full weight on the tires.
