switching rubicon suspension to a sahara
is the RUBICON'S suspension components any taller than the sahara's. would it be worth it to swap them out if i got it for free?
on a seperate question could you use the front and rear diff from a RUBICON on a non RUBI JK?
Thanks

If you got it for free, why not? The rubicon has stiffer springs and gas charged shocks, which will perform a little better on the trail then the sahara components. It should be a simple swap. The springs will be the same length assuming you have the same wheel base as the donor vehicle.
As for your other question, the rubicon comes with front and rear dana 44 axles with e-lockers and 4:10 gear ratio. The sahara has a front dana 30 and rear dana 44, and depending on your options, it may have a limited slip diff and either a 3:21 or 3:73 gear ratio, so you could not simply swap out axle components.
Hope this helps.

right. compare all the spring part numbers to see if its worth it. If its a 2 door to a 2 door there might not be a huge difference. but people usually upgrade to 4 door rubicon springs on to their 2 door for almost an inch height gain. (like me)
