??Could DuraTracs or Revo 2s increase economy by 2mpg on DD stock Rubi??
Need tires soon for a 2007 stock Rubi with BFG MTs r17. A little disappointed that at 32K, by fall, I'll need new tires. That said, I was all set to go with a more "aggressive" AT like DuraTrac or Revo2 as this is a DD vehicle and spend a lot of miles on the road; not that I mind the ride/noise I get now.
Today I have a line on some factory take-offs, same BFG MT, at like $400 with 800 miles on them. That's about half of Out The Door on my new tire quotes. Mount them and add about another $80.
2 mpg better would get me about 40 more miles per tank for an annual savings of about $320. The new tires would "pay for themselves" in a year plus, in the case of the Revo2s, would be a 50K tire.

You could certainly get 50k on a street tire type like a Revo or Duratrac but a good MT should be able to get you pretty decent mileage as well.
I don't see any specific questions here...so I don't know what to answer.
