Default Rear Control arms for Woods drive shaft

Here is the deal, im getting ready to order a Woods rear DS and im wondering if I need rear upper arms to get the right angles? Or can I take measurements and just put it on and be good to go? Im running a TF 3" kit with front lower arms only.

X2 on what planman said. Your pinion needs to be aligned with the tcase, sometimes a degree or two lower to eliminate vibes. The only way to get it in that sweet spot is adj arms.

How long will the rear shaft make it? I drove it about 200 miles so far, been spraying lube in there. Can I take that boot off and grease it up real good? Im wanting to get a few weeks out of it before I switch shafts.

You have a 4dr, correct? Your stock rear ds will last a long time(thousands of miles) unless you bash it into something. It's not at the severe angle that a 2dr is. I have 60,000m on my stock rear shaft. Only off-road once every month or so though. If you do alot of rocks, it's a good idea to go ahead and replace it. Easier to fix on the trail. The front ds on a four door usually needs replacing first. I'd look at that first.

With the torn boot? Can I cut it off and lube it up?

Which boot is torn? The slip joint( in the middle) or the boot on the rezeppa joint at the end of the shaft?
