Default Help. !8" black steel wheels

New to the "Jeep Thang" I traded my F350 in for a Jeep in March, needless to say I have been missing out, i LOVE my sahara. I put a 3" bds lift LoD stubby front bumper running a warn 9.5 winch and stock sahara wheels on 18" mud grapplers ( luckily my pickup also had 18's so i kept my grapplers ) but now i want a cragar soft 8 type and im only finding up to a 17' wheel. Any guys know where i could find something in a 18?

I think i can squeeze a 37'' tire next time around it will be tight but the front bumper gives me lots of clearance but also the weight of it and the winch hurt the lift in the front. Ill still go with a 18" if i do a 37. All help greatly appreciated guys, thanks alot.

I have a 3.5 BDS lift and rub with my 35's. I would not recommend going larger that 35" unless you get a bigger lift or modify the fenders. Even then you will still rub your sway bar. Just my 2 cents. What gears are you running? Consider that too before going to 37's.

My 32's rub my sway bar at full turn. Nothing horrible but it does. Should I worry about it?

One of the most attractive aspects of steelies like the Cragar Soft 8's is their low cost. Since 18" tires are more expensive than 15-17" tires, there may not be much of a market. Their (steelie makers) marketing department probably found that if somebody is spending the $ on 18" wheels, they'll spend the $ on prettier wheels than Soft 8's.

JMHO, of course.

It is EXTREMELY annoying when you hit the trails. If you don't believe me just ask some of the folks on this forum who wheeled with me in Hot Springs.
