With 35" tires you really don't need a 4" or higher lift. A 3" lift might be fine. Pretty much anything over 3"s of lift will eventually need new drive shafts. You may eventually need them with a 3", but you wouldn't need them near as soon.

You can run that set up with out that much lift... you only need 2.5 inches and then you dont have to modify much.. but if you plan on doing the rubicon trail and wheeling the hell out of her... youd better have some cash and go with the bigger lift with 37's or bigger of course! But.. that means adding a lot of new stuff! J.E.E.P. Just Empty Every Pocket! Have FUN... CHEERS!

with that much lift on a 2dr you will need new drive shafts.... among other things

I clear 35's with lots of room with a 2.5" lift and trimmed fenders

stay closer to 2.5-3" you will have to replace driveshaft even with 3.5 of lift eventually.

Scroll back up and read what everyone has been telling you.

You don't need a huge lift to run 35's. If you HAVE to have a tall lift, be prepared to buy both adjustable ca's and driveshafts. It isn't rocket science: tall lift = more components. You may not need them right away, but plan ahead and set some money aside...

Have you considered the TrailMaster 5" lift? It comes with new drive shafts. Just installed one on my 2008 2 door X and love it. Went with 37s.
