Default Evap relocation kit or skid plate-whats your preference

I want to protect my evap canister, but want to know what is the preferred method of doing this.

What you you all suggest? Should I get the skid plat for it, or the relocation kit?

Thanks

I went w/ a Poison Spyder skid. Easy install, relocates 3/4" up, and solid.

Relocated, Woods Kit
no issues if you take care of the o-ring
but search in write ups, you can do it basicly for free

Relocate should have been there from the factory.

This give you options down the road also like relocating your muffler and adding more storage.

for guys with bigger lifts I think the skid makes prefect sense, but I went for the relocation. Having it out of the way and not having worry at all was better peace of mind. Don't even need the Woods kit if you rather save some money in doing it yourself. Got help from a friend on this and he did it with a handful of self tappers which have been holding up fine instead of the nuts and bolts.

I relocated mine for free using some of the leftover parts from my Pure Jeep rear bumper. It was really easy and now I don't have to worry about it.

Thanks for the information folks. I am gonna go with the relocation kit. I hear grumblings about codes being set off when changing hoses and moving the canister. It looks like most of the kits you can buy use different hoses. Is this a common issue to get codes popping up?

Thanks
