Default After market rear bumper with flat fenders

The next Mod to my Jeep will be flat fenders. After my last wheeling trip, I caught the rear bumper on a tree and pulled it away from the body. If any one has pics of flat fender with various rear bumpers I would like to see them.

Pretty much any bumper that isn't a full width looks good with flat fenders. Probably the cheapest with a tire carrier would be the Smittybilt XRC.

If you search for flat fender threads you'll see a LOT of pics with different rear bumpers.

what size tires are you running? if you run anything less than 35s, flat fenders are going to make your tires look even smaller and not in proportion with the overall styling of the JK.

Other than that, Bushwacker and Xenon make great flares and then there is a host of steelie vendors out there as well...

I am planning on running 35's with no lift. leaning toward the bushwacker flares but like the idea of steel in the rear so my son could use them for a step when he climbs in. That will be the toss up. The plastic gives, steel don't. I just ripped off my right rear on a tree. If it had been metal there would have been bent body panels.

From most that I've read if you are going to be disconnecting the sway bars (you have a Rubicon so I assume that's a yes) then you want some lift. Even a 2.5" BB would be OK, but a 2.5" coil lift would probably be better.
