Many thanks to "ScruffyRubicon"!!!
The new inferior is still horrible even in black, to many curves and shiny parts.... and I can't even imagine taking it off road... way to fancy
, not my test...
Now, I like my 2010 Rubi even more! the simplicity, that was and always be the "Wrangler Magic"

The simplicity left aloooooooong time ago with the CJ. Wrangler interiors have been less than desirable in terms of simplicity ever since. Not one Wrangler has had a "simple" interior IMHO they've just gotten a bit more complicated with each iteration. You do have to admit though that this new interior is leaps ahead in material quality.
Enjoy you JK though!

How can you tell the material quality by looking at pictures? I bet is better, I just can't tell how much better.
I saw that the X model returns (on the towing section), never saw anything about the "Full Instrumentation", no carpeting in the rear compartment, cruise control has an asterisk stating "if equiped" although I saw that all models would have CC. Probably no more $50 CC upgrade for the ones that didn't got it from the factory.
It looks like you will be trading one 12v outlet for the power mirrors.
I don't mind the new interior but nothing there urges me to trade.

I'm not really for or against the new interior, but I am disappointed there aren't any signifcant changes to the '11 "Uconnect" system. Based on the videos of it in the Grand Cherokee, it looks like it's pretty much the same unit, software, and hardware we've been using for the past 4 years (save for the Wi-Fi feature). I was hoping for something new, especially since Google Navigation on today's cellphones absolutely annihilates any handheld or in-dash navigation unit, especially when it comes to features and updates.

So far I like it ok, it's not worse than the 07 -10 JK that's for sure. I still wish the interiors were more CJ like though. I loved that simple interior back then.

This is hilarious! Typical corporate idiots! Internal departments dont' communicate with one another. They have not even released an official press release and/or photos, yet the department working on the user guide, posts it online! Just hilarious...

Also...everyone seems to be complaining about the chrome. There are 500 after-market manufacturers making every little replacement for every little jeep piece. Don't you think that in short order, someone will make replacement parts to swap out the chrome? Maybe I am wrong, but you can buy multi-colored replacement screws for god's sake...I would think this would be easy!? No??
