Default JK Dana 44 front carrier options??

Ok, will a regular Dana 44 carrier that comes in Dodges, Jeeps, Chevy's etc (30 spline axles) fit into a FRONT Dana 44 in a JK (Rubicon) housing ????

If a person drills out the ring gear mounting holes larger if required?

Or will a JK Dana 44 rear carrier (30 spline non Rubicon) fit into a Front Dana 44 JK Rubicon 30 spline diff.

If the top option is viable, what carrier split to use on the JK Gearset??

Sorry if this has been answered, but searches list lots, but I could not specifically find this?

Thanks, Mike

The JK Rubi front housing uses a unique carrier (case). They only replacement for a front Rubi carrier is an RD157 ARB. Even if another carrier could be used, the axles wouldn't work (one would be too long, the other too short). The center line of a Rubi locker is different than a std case.

Hmmmm, so the Dana 44 JK (non Rubi) rear carrier will not fit the Dana 44 JK (Rubi) front housing either?

??
