Default A little overwhelmed....

Hey all, I don't want you to think I'm lazy and looking for a quick answer because I've done a lot of researching and just have seen so much. I am purchasing a 2010 JK 4dr rubi this weekend and have decided to go with 35's on it, I'm going with the BFG KM2's no doubt but my questions lies in a lift and am deciding whether to do a 2.5 budget boost, teraflex, or go with a 3'' lift. Seems that the 3'' lift is better suited for the truck and would prevent rubbing. Question is, brand prefered by most??? and with the lift is the rake still going to be lower in the front or does it even it out generally??? advice is appreciated!

I used to own a 90 Cherokee that was "Built FORD tough" I swear. You removed the lower plastic door gaurds and the body said FORD. Now that was cool.

What is your budget, and how will you be using it?

A TF 2.5 BB will give 2.5"
A TF 2.5 Coil will give 3-4" - depending on which version of the coil, the model and added weight.
A TF 3" Coil will give 4-5" - depending...

As you go higher, you will want to add more components to bring you back to a stock-ish ride.

You might consider a lower lift height and chopping the flares or going to flats.

I had a 2.5 TF coil. Great lift and rode very nice. I had the stock BFGs and 35s looked like they would be tight. Lift took out all rake.

I had a 2.5 BB before and it rides rough, will not remove rake since pucks are the same size

I now have the TF 3". Rides very nice and only a small amount of rake (warn front bumper and warn winch) so I added a .75 spacer. Without bumpers or winch your rake will be gone.

I personally think the 3" looks great with 35s and even 37s if you bump up. But if your on a budget the TF 2.5 coil will also work great
