Default TF 1,5" Leveling kit or 2,5 budget boost with 33's???

I'm planning on changing my tires on my Unlimited Sahara and I want to upgrade to 33's (my wife won't let me go bigger!!!). What would be better, performance and esthetic wise, the TF 1,5" leveling kit or their 2,5" budget boost??? Your opinion please!

Thanks

Here are some pics for you. I did all of the above with 33" Km2's

I looked at many jeep pics to decide between the leveling kit and 2.5 BB for my 33" tires, and decided that I thought 2.5BB left too much open space in the wheel well for 33's. The leveling kit gives it just enough lift to look tall without making the tires look too small.

That's exactly what I thought too, especially if you're just going to 33's. With the 2.5 lift, there is enough room in there for 35's. The TF Leveling Kit is the next thing on my "to do as soon as I find that damn money tree" list.

Go with the teraflex leveling kit.

You can run a 33"-34" tire. (you might need spacers if using stock rims)

the kit that retails for around $130 comes with extended front sway bar links four 1" pucks for the front and two 1" pucks for the rear.

You install two pucks on the front driver and two pucks on the front passenger and the rear pucks in the rear.

This will eliminate the factory rake and give you 2" of lift in front and 1" of lift in the rear.

Looks good with stock 32" tires and also, per above photos, looks good with 33" tires.

The ride quality is essentially the same. I didn't need to do an alignment or anything. (Keep in mind I have a heavy bumper and winch so it most likely brought me to only about 1.5" or so of lift over stock)

Maybe its me, But I happen to like the slight front favored rake on my JK.... any of these smaller 1-2" lifts keep that... I think it makes the jeep a little more agressive and menacing.....

am I the only one here who feels that way....

sorry for the high jack.

You can keep the factory rake by installing just the 1" lift pucks in the front and not using the other set that is supplied in the kit. you can still run a 33" tire.

Well, if your intention is to go as big as possible within your wife's approval range, go for the BB...!!!

I got the 2.5 BB with my 33s and I'm super happy !.

Just did the TF 2.5 BB with shock extensions and added 33" Duratracs. Very happy with the look and stance.
