I'm trying to install a MBRP Grille Guard light bar and the bracket will not sit square. I have a Rubicon and the rubber piece to the right of the bracket is in the way.
Is it possible to move it / trim it etc.
Thanks for the help. I have the whole front end opened up now.

I think you answered your own question in another thread. The rubber thingy is a rubber vibration mount for you electronic disconnect for the sway bar. When I mounted mine I put the front bolt in and wedged the MBRP mount against the vibration damper and locked in the other mount bolt. It held up just fine until I replaced it with the MBRP front bumper!

I just installed one but i have a sahara, looks like the sway bar disc from the rubicon.
Ask MBRP in the sponsors section. Or you can just take the bracket to shop and cut it.

it will go in there. if i remember correctly when i did mine i left the bracket kind of loose with 1 bolt in it until i got the whole thing put together. then i used the "bar" as leverage to get the 2nd hole to line up. you'll need another person to help. i beleive thtas how i did mine. hope that works.

Default Rubber disc

Does anyone know if the "rubber disc" on the right side (photo) would be hurt by having the bracket against it?
I was able to get it together but the "disc" is pushed a little and there isn't much flex in the disc to begin with-hard/stiff.
