Arb compressor won't shut off air leak
I have air emitting from the hole in the round silver pice next to the bolt on the top. Anyone familiar with this. Is it a release valve? my compressor as a result won't shut off unless I unplug it.
I'll try an post up a picture when I get to my computer.
Update: it's leaking air from the safety valve fitting. Why or what caused this?

By the way this forum would be nothing without posting problems. How else can you trouble shoot without sitting on hold with customer service.
Plus, you might have had better luck if you'd posted this on the "Stock JK Tech" board.

I had an issue with my ARB compressor leaking out of the box. Using some soap, I found a pinhole size leak in the housing. Kinda pissed me off because I expect better from ARB. Didn't want to have to deal with removing the compressor, sending it back etc, so I just used some 2 part epoxy to cover up the hole and it seams to be air tight now.
I'm pretty anal about air leaks - my compressor cycles about every 7 hours or so. When it's attache to my 5 gallon tank, it will go around 8 days between cycling.
