Default Alloy Axle Shaft Upgrade

I've decided to get a set of Chromolly shafts F&R. Not sure that I need them, but want a little extra just in case. I don't need the RCVs up front, so am looking at the Alloy USA shafts. I have a price of $935 for both axles shipped to me. Do I need to question the u-joints or does Alloy always use the same one? Any better prices out there?

i can say you will want to go with a honest company and one that will give you the best price as well. david at northridge is who i would call and have ordered almost everything from him (he didn't carry psc stuff before but now he does). he won't let you down and you dont need to worry if there is a probem with a company's part. he will stand behind anything he sells.

if it were me i would just spend the money on the front and get the rcv shafts and forget the rear for now.

I was going to call David anyway as I've bought a few things from him already. After talking to him, I'm leaning toward the RCVs in the front and Superiors in the rear. I think both are overkill for the way I wheel, but at my age I don't want to have to worry about one breaking out in the boonies. After sleeping on it, I'll figure it out. ........ Hope my wife doesn't find out!!!

Has anyone been able to say no to David at Northridge?? Only a few hours after talking to him I had to call him back and order the RCVs for the front and Superiors for the rear. I thought "what the heck" they would be nice to have if I ever go to 37s, which I am never, never, never going to do. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
