Default Rocker skin/armor, Poison Spyder or Offroad Evo?

Looking at getting a set of rocker skins to armor my rockers since I bashed the driver side at Rausch Creek on Sat and the rock hit above my stock Rubi rails. Going to get a set of rocker armor skins to cover it up and prevent it in the future. Is one of the two better than the other? They both look to be 3/16" steel, with the PSC ones having the option of getting 3/16" 6061-T6 aluminum. Also I know I'll have to drill holes in the body to install. I have a small dent about 3 1/2 to 4" long and 1 12" tall just above the stock Rubi rail at the bottom of the "B" pillar. Will this dent interfere with the drilling of holes and installation of the nutserts used to install the rocker armor skins? Looking at getting the skins to cover up the dent instead of fixing it. Thanks for any help.

x2 on PSC, and only because of the rubber gasket that goes behind them.

I got the EVO skins because they were cheaper. I used 2 rolls of toolbox liner as a gasket from harbor freight. cost about $12 and did the job nicely.

okay, the new search function on this forum does really seem to suck - talk about OLD threads being revived. highoctane already bought a set of evo rocker skins

I've started adding 6 mo or newer to my searches. I was wondering if a function could be added where an old thread smells of decay when it is over a year old. A motorcycle forum I'm on has a google search built in that is much better but only on the web based version.
