Default Where are mud grapplers and spidertraxx made?

Got a few question on where parts are made. Im trying to take advantage of the NAFTA, and get parts accross the US border without paying duty on them. However this only works on parts made in the US.

Im wondering if Nitto Mud Grapplers are made in the US, and Spidertraxx Spacers. If anyone knows I'd appreciate the info. A co worker just took a position in our company that is on a split town at the Can/US border. I can ship to a local hardware store and he said he would cross and bring them back for me.

Thanks guys.

mudgrapplers are an offshoot of jello wrestlers & I believe made at your local gentlemens club, and spider tracks are made under some scary-assed looking bugs.

If you want them without duty you are going to need them marked as a gift...Otherwise, I am pretty sure you will be paying duty.

It should say right on the tire where it's made. Or ask the retialer your buying them from to check for you. I'm from Windsor,ON and I bought my nitto trailgrapplers in Detroit. The trailgrapplers are made in the USA. the customs officer came out to check the tire to see that it was.

Nope. Auto parts made in the USA are covered und the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and are therefore not subject to duties and/or tarriffs when moving from the USA to Canada. As long as the product is marked MADE IN AMERICA (as im sure the trail graps were) they cant make you pay.

If you get an item being shipped as a gift you dont pay duty regardless of the country of origin as you cant pay duty on an item that didnt cost you anything.

What about brokerage? Maybe that is what I am thinking of.

Brokerage is the cost of having a transport company move your goods accross an international border. I wont have to deal with brokerage as there are lots of hardware stores, farms, feed stores ect 20 minutes from the border that will accept your packages and hold them so you can drive over and get them yourself.
