Default Can a bent SS cause pseudo death-wobble?

This past weekend I was out at RC for Topless for Tata’s (which was awesome!). Sunday I drove home six hours and had absolutely no issues the entire time. A few hours after I get home I leave to go grab some food and I don’t make it 50 yards before I hit a pot hole and get death-wobble at 20 MPH! Since then I’ve taken her out a few times and it seems that if I hit any bumps between 15 and 30 MPH then I get death wobble otherwise it’s all good.

While I was out there I know I tapped a rock with my tie-rod so now my steering wheel is slightly off center but it’s not too bad and it’s really just a matter of adjustment. What I just found out is that my steering stabilizer decided to fight with a rock and lost! The case got pretty banged up from the bottom as well as on the top from hitting the track bar and the rod is bent. I just ordered a new Rock Krawler tie rod and a Teraflex SS as well as Woods SS relocate bracket.

I’ve read a little about death-wobble and it seems that I don’t necessarily meet all the criteria to diagnose it as such but it’s the only way I can describe what’s going on. I checked the front end and everything seems to be tight. I know that as long as your alignment is spot on and everything is tight you don’t really need a SS but my question is if your SS is bent can it actually cause a pseudo death-wobble or should I be looking for a different problem? Thanks!

Drive it without the SS and see what happens.

The obvious culprit is the track bar. Make sure yours is on tight with no room to move back and forth.
I went out ant torqued the crap out of it... it was slightly loose and seems to have corrected the problem!!! Thanks!!!

I was going to try that but I also bent the passenger side mount enough that I'm going to need a pry bar which I don't have I have Woods relocate on the way so when I get it I can mess up the mount as much as I want trying to get the stock SS out!

If its bent, it'll cause some issues
