Default under 15 gas mileage on trip

I have a 2008 4 dr sahara 6spd. I made a trip this weekend from my home to west virginia. On this trip i got 14.6 MPG (according to the thing in the dash board). I have 32.xx cooper discoverer STTs and a rough country 3.25 lift with a RR XHD front stubby. It doesn't seem like i should be getting efficiency this poorly. I'm looking for comments about this (whether you think it is right or wrong) or opinions on what i could do to make it normal. 85% of this trip was highway driving (60-75 MPH). Just recently installed the lift and was getting around 17 or 18 before the lift went on. Any questions post them and i will try to answer. Thanks guys.

We went camping this weekend and pulled a 3500# pop up camper up to 8700 feet.Averaged 9.8 mpg . With 37" AUTO and 513s. About the same as my Dodge 2500 Hemi.

My milage on trips dropped about 2.5 MPG after installing the lift. Seems like it is just a factor of pushing more air while driving down the road.

Don't have a lift on my 2010 Wrangler Sport but when I installed 33x12.5 tires my MPG droped from 16.9 to 15.3. Purchased a Superchips Flashpaq, K & N CAI and MBPR performance exhsusts. MPG now 17.5 with same driving conditions plus a lot more low end power. Very happy with this set up. BTW my Sport is a 6 speed manual.

On my auto stock 3.73, I was getting 17 - 19 mpg. Now lifted 4" w/35" and Superchips, I get 14-15 mpg. I will be regearing next year when funds allow.

I wouldn't trust the gadget On the dash. Mine is never right on my stock 07 Rubi 2dr. According to the dash I normally get around 16 +/-, but if I calculate it out when I fill up I get anywhere from high 17's to almost 20. I've yet to break into the 20's, but I get oh so close.
