You do know that you have to drill your knuckle and this draglink is flipped to the top of the knuckle. I see you have an RC 4in lift wich comes with a drop trackbar bracket and drop pitman which are designed to work together. Your drop pitman would have to be taken off and use a stock pitman. Now, how well the geometry would be with the RC drop bracket and the RE drag flip, I dunno. May wanna get an RE bracket for the trackbar,or do what I did and get the whole draglink flip kit from Teraflex, which is set up to work together and also has a cross brace for the trackbar bracket that greatly increases the strength of the bracket. Itr also gets your draglink up and outta harms way.
Other than that I don't know the strength of the RE drag, I think the main thing is getting it up outta the way.

In addition, I think I'd rather have a draglink bend than to hit something and have that force transfered to my steering box. Again, I think the main thing is to move it up so less chance of it hitting anything.

the strength is very good, very solid. i actually just replaced mine today, i already had the re drag link, got bent from a wreck.

but if you are not already set up for RE then i would actually go with what mk stated about the teraflex. with the re drag link you have to buy:

drag link $200
reamer for the knuckle $50
wth the re link u should stay wth re tb drop brakcet $90
if u have to buy a stock pitman arm, looking at $50-$100 depending on where u buy it

so add that up and u are now over the price of the teraflex kit. re does not make these to be individual parts to intermix with other brand lifts, yes it can be done, but i dont thin k the compatibility will be that great unless u get a complete setup

there is a reputable company running a special of $100 off the teraflex kit right now, shoot me a message and ill tell u who. im not going to get into a price war with sponsors on here

im going to agree wth mk on this one 100%, u would want it to bend rather than being transfered into your steering, i know that if the draglink is bent u can still get home, but if your steering gets screwed, well, essentially u are screwed,

the re drag is stout, but since i have never hit it on the trails, i dont know about the bending capabilities, but the wreck i was in, the drag bent before it bent the pitman arm and steering

the re drag does get up and out of the way in my opinion, i have never hit the drag link, i have hit the tie rod and couple bangs on the track bar

Nice input Capt. Especially about putting the price of additional things needed.
The Tera kit comes with everything, just need a bigass drillbit for the knuckle( it comes with a tapered sleeve) not as pricey as having to buy a tapered reamer.

no problem, im all for RE since thats what i have, but im also for someone to have a correct setup so they dont have problems down the road and also to price compare on some things. for example today, i replaced my drag link, just the tools needed for that job was another $70 for wrenches etc... i wished i had known that so i could have incorporated that into price at beginning. either way he goes, he will probably have to hire someone unless he can ream for the re or weld for the tf kit

im waiting on food to finish cooking so no big deal to look up pricing, RE is in my bookmarks

Just so you know you can run the RE drag link in the stock location also. You do not have to put it on top of the knuckle.

yes that is true, but as far as i know, that is only for a stock setup with no lift nothing, lifted past 4" u start getting into the track bar drop bracket and then replacing his pitman arm since he is running a drop pitman. if a drop bracket is used, RE states it has to be mounted as over the knuckle

what he needs to do is call RE and verify what all he would need for his brand liftat 4", they will steer him in right direction
