2011s to ship beginning of September (Detroit News)
August 20. 2010:
"Chrysler began production this week of the new 2011 Jeep Wrangler at its Chrysler Supplier Park, a joint venture with three key suppliers, and will begin shipping the new model to dealers early next month. "
Anyone confirm this?

Not an absolute confirmation, but an update this weekend from my dealer indicated that the Rubi I ordered in June is built and in final inspection - he expects it at the dealership this coming week.

Then I take it your gonna buy a 2010, cause the 2011's are a $1500 mark up from 2010's and then you should be able to get 10% under invoice on a 2010 when the 2011's arrive on sept. 1st.
Nothing useful - I've been out of town for a couple of days, but no calls from my dealer so I assume it's still not arrived...
Last status report was that it was built, thru inspection, and "shipped to storage" on the 25th. Dealer has been working with their regional Jeep rep to get it shipped, but it's not here yet. Dealer has at least 4 others that are built and waiting for shipment (they're actually showing in the dealer's inventory now), and since we're only about 3.5 hrs. from Toledo, they'll probably be able to fill up a truck with a couple of other area dealers pretty soon - assuming Jeep will release them.
